Hello - my name is Brian Durham.  I curate a website called “Scam Of The Day” where we have roughly 38,000 examples of advance-fee scams (also called Nigerian scams, among other things).

Our presence here at tumblr is to give highlights of what’s going on in the email online scam world without delving into many of the ugly details.

We’ll also be posting information and news we receive from sources such as IC3 and the FBI about online scams and whatnot.

Before anyone asks - I’ve never seen any of these emails turn out to be real in four years now … it’s all just Nigerians, Nigerian ex-pats and other folks trying to get money out of people. And more people fall for these things than you would think.
